I recently designed the website and identity for Kuk Service Calls: a window and door installation and repair business in Tipperary. The client, Mariusz, wanted a clean, professional platform to promote his work and connect with customers in the local area.
The aim was simple: raise awareness of his services while making it easy for people to reach out.
Visual Language & Logo Design
The letter “K” formed the foundation of the visual identity. I designed a bold, clean monogram-style logo that subtly incorporates the shape of a window which gives a quiet nod to the client’s core service. This angular “K” motif is echoed throughout the website in the form of diagonal gradients and sharp graphic accents. These elements reference the precision of joinery and the crisp cuts of carpentry tools, reinforcing the trade through form rather than literal imagery.
The colour palette combines deep black and gold which is a timeless pairing that feels both sharp and reliable. Gold is used as an accent colour throughout to draw the eye without overwhelming the content.
Character & Touchpoints
As a personal touch, I created a simple illustrated mascot loosely based on Mariusz himself, featuring a cap, a hammer, and the brand’s black and gold colour scheme. The character adds warmth and approachability to the site while doubling as a recognisable visual across other branded materials.
In addition to the website, I designed a business card and flyer to ensure consistency across print and digital touchpoints.
Accessibility & Communication
The website is fully responsive, with layouts adapted for desktop, tablet, and mobile. Contact is central to the user experience: a floating WhatsApp button allows for instant messaging, while phone and email links are tap-friendly on smaller screens. A dedicated contact page with a built-in form offers another easy way to reach out. Offering multiple contact methods not only improves usability for visitors, but also increases the chances of potential clients getting in touch quickly and easily.

Kuk Service Calls is a clean, straightforward website that reflects the quality of Mariusz’s work and makes it easy for customers to get in touch. It blends a strong visual identity with practical design that is simple, user friendly, and approachable.
